This is Volume 3 of Fox's hit show Futurama. If you've ever watched the show (which of course you have) then you probably know what's going to be set up for you in a DVD collection like this. Volume 3 contains all of the episodes from the production of Season 3. That means that there are 22 episodes here to enjoy (all complete with commentaries) which are these:

Amazon Women in the MoodParasites LostA Tale of Two Santas
The Luck of the FryrishThe Birdbot of Ice-CatrazBendless Love
The Day the Earth Stood StupidThat's Lobstertainment! The Cyber House Rules
Where the Buggalo RoamInsane in the MainframeThe Route of All Evil
Bendin' in the WindTime Keeps on SlippingI Dates a Robot
A Leela of Her OwnA Pharaoh to RememberAnthology of Interest II
Roswell that Ends WellGodfellasFuture Stock
The 30% Iron Chef

Yes as seen from the back of the cases, those are all the episodes. Actually the episodes range from favorites to... well not-so-favorites, but I'm sure you have your own opinion on that matter. I don't have a super fancy setup for all my watching needs, but the image quality is great. Since Futurama is all digital to begin with it's move to DVD is pretty much flawless, although if you have your eyes right next to the screen you may notice the lines in some scenes get pixely. The sound quality is also superb and with all the music made by its own orchestra, that's a good thing.

The biggest thing about this and everyother futurama set is the commentaries, which have a few new voices like Maurice Lamarche and Tress MacNeille. They still have old favorites like Matt Groening, David X. Cohen, Rich Moore and the rambunctious duo of Billy West and John DiMaggio. The writers and animators get on many of the commentatories as well. Can anybody guess the Zoidberg?

There are deleted scenes from 16 of the episodes and some very worth the watching. Parasites Lost comes with a storyboard, and Anthology of Interest II has an animatic. There's also an alternate animation commentary for the Emmmmmmy winning episode, Roswell That Ends Well. Also included are international clips, a how to draw Fry and Leela still gallery, and a walk through of 3-D models which gives insight to some of Futurama's high quality 3-d animation. Also included in this R1 version are extra voicing done over the menu. They include talk from Bender, Zapp & Kif, the Nibblonians and Brains, and the Omicronians. They're actually quite funny and worth having Region1 version to hear ;)

The case is something to be prized like the other sets of course. It has a slip cover over a box which holds the dvds. Many have subjected you take the box and slip cover as a keepsake and keep them somewhere safe as they are prone to slight damaging easily. The dvds are once again in the slim packaging but with slight changes such as the buttons that hold the dvds.

There are also Easter Eggs... Anyways I hope you pick up the set and enjoy it, I've seen it carried in most stores.
